I don't think I could ever live far away from New York City. It is a place where creativity oozes out of every building and every sidewalk. When I look around at the architecture, I am mesmerized. lt is just so picturesque...however, yes I said it. However, Paris is tied with New York City as far as I'm concerned. Paris has this unique flair for beauty. It is a place where eating bread is just the most wonderful thing in the world. It is the place for face creams and cooking gadgets, for flowers and adorable children that are mostly well mannered, and let's not forget the ART! There is art everywhere. Every street looks like it came out of a postcard. Every restaurant looks romantic... even some of the fast food joints look cool. When I visited Paris on one of my nine trips there.. uh huh.. you heard right.. nine times... I felt like a new person. The French Language came back to me, the tourist would ask me for directions in French or to take their picture, the shop vendors and the waiters spoke to me in French. I felt like I belonged there. I have always said that living in Paris for a year is on my bucket list. I will be writing more about Paris in future posts. In the mean time here is a picture of me in Paris after I got my hair cut at a local salon. 

I have had this blog for about two years but never bothered to write anything. I have seen so many online ads for writing courses and blogging that I decided to give it a go. I have always been a writer of sorts. Poetry, short stories, scripts, reports legal briefs... you get what I mean. I kept a diary from the time I was 10 years old until I was in my 20's. I do like to write but I didn't think I have anything interesting to say.  As I look back on my life, I realize that I have had so many contrasting yet wonderful experiences that my friends may be right, when they say, I make an interesting conversationalist. I am an Actor, a Producer, a Writer, a Photographer, a world traveler, I speak multiple languages, I have a law degree, and I have had the privilege to meet many important and famous people throughout my life. Not a day goes by that I don't see on TV someone I have met in person. I love to meet new people. I love music, and sometimes I can be a pollyanna. My kindness is at times mistaken for weakness but that is ok. So every week I will tell you about something that I observed or something that happened to me. I hope to write about positive things. This is the motto I have followed all my life. "If there is anything virtuous, lovely or of good report, or praiseworthy. we seek after these things." (LDS 13th Article of Faith) I will also share pictures when I can. Let's see where this goes and hopefully it will be fun for you and me. What do you say? Think you might want to join me? I hope so.
